Outcomes

Do-Cornwall produce schemes of work and session plans for everything undertaken in an educational setting. With end of project reports as standard. In doing so we place ourselves in the perfect position to demonstrate progression in whichever activity your students are engaged in.

Do-Cornwall liaise with in school staff and students to ensure awareness of needs and issues, offering appropriate guidance and support where needed.

Do Cornwall instructors have worked extensively with young people presenting challenges, with quantifiable results obtained through the comparison of Sims or similar data for attendance, progress and behaviour tracking. Notably on Freestyle and 180 type projects.

Equal importance is given to feedback from classroom staff on soft outcomes, where interaction and involvement can impact the whole group. Through modelling reasonable responses, positive engagement and honesty Do-Cornwall instructors offer positive role behaviours to the young people who trust them and look to them for safety in their environment.

Methods

Developmental programmes: As an in school intervention, or out of school extraction the key is always the development of the young people that we would all like to see succeed in whatever they choose to do. Do-Cornwall staff have demonstrable successes in working with young people to achieve their own desired outcomes.

Home School / Care: Do-Cornwall instructors are experienced in working with both home schooled and looked after young people. Bringing small groups together can alleviate the perception of isolation that sometimes follows.

Activity Days: Ideal for either small groups of students that are outside of the main groups, or the main groups themselves, these days are readily tailored to need and can include more than one activity.
These activity days can be on or off site.

Activity Weeks: Do-Cornwall have had great success with planning week long, in school progressive activity weeks, with multiple disciplines running simultaneously to stimulate, engage and entertain those remaining in school. We are also available for  off site school activity week programmes.

Do the best we can for our young people.
